A distinguished archaeologist and paleontologist who currently serves as the Director General of the Museo del Desierto in Mexico. Under his leadership, the museum has become a pivotal institution for research, education, and conservation efforts related to the Chihuahuan Desert. Arturo has an extensive and very valuable network in and outside of Mexico. As biologist from a very young age on, he has dedicated his career to understanding living beings and nature. Over the past two decades, he has led numerous wildlife rescue projects, focusing on endangered species like the Mexican wolf, bighorn sheep, and prairie dog. His work also includes reintroducing bison to the region.
